Difficulty: Easy
Distance to Mini-box: about 200 yards
Status of Mini-box: Alive and Well on 7/15/06.
The "Wile E. Coyote" mini-box is hidden in Bane Park (a place I tried to hide a box in 6 months ago, but was to crowded on that day. Anyway, other boxes are to be found, at least until the tree cutters get them all. So hurry!
Directions:
From Hwy 290 going out of town, exit Gessner and go right. Turn left on West Little York, then turn right into the park entrance. Go to playground area and park.
To the Mini-box:
Walking through the gate, past the playground, around the right side of the lake, to the "Nature Trail". Follow the trail (finding boxes on the way) until you reach the "Trumpet Creeper" display. From here, continue on the trail for 15 more steps. Go left into the trees for 7 steps to a 2-foot high stump. Continue straight for 3 more steps. Look left and see a large tree. Mini-box is at base of this tree (on your side) covered with leaves. Watch out for sickers!!! Let me know the status of this box: babybearlb2002@yahoo.com
