Lakes Park is located at the intersection of Gladiolus and Old Gladiolus about 1/4 mile west of the intersection of Gladiolus and US 41. Park in the lot closest to the Train Village. There is a per-car parking fee of $0.75 to $3.00.
Walk toward the old steam train and beyond it, find the bridgewalk across the lake. Take the bridgewalk to the first island, then cross another short bridge (marked by a sign indicating that the entire thing was made of recycled plastic). At the end of this second bridge, turn left and head for the three rock/coral formations at the lake's edge on a little knoll. The center rock has a large circular depression. The letterbox is underneath the flattish left-hand rock, lakeside, hidden by sand and two transplanted geological formations. Please rehide well!
Enjoy!
