Easy half hour unless you take advantage of being here and look for the boxes of the Great Tree Adventure. This box is for my grandson, Tyler who lives in Wallingford and played at the soccer fields you passed on the way in.

From interstate 91 South take exit 14, turn left, pass the Veteran Memorial Fields, turning right onto Northford Road and right again onto Tyler Mill Road. Park in the lot just to your left, this is the Tyler Mill Open Space and "some" hunting is allowed so wear orange.

Walk West on the paved road till you find a path into the woods on the right (just after a trap rock land slide). If you come to (on the left) a "sort of" parking area with a wire barrier (slowly filling up with debris) you went too far. This trail used to be blazed blue and you might see a few faded blazes. At the top of a smallish hill you'll see orange blazes going left. Stay straight and now you'll see red blazes. Follow these until they turn left and a yellow trail goes straight. At this point you should have a GREAT three sister Oak tree on the right and a doulble yellow blazed tree on the left. From this tree, site 330 degrees and walk to a tree with a rock at it's base. Between these two is where Tyler resides. Stamp in, careful not to be seen and return it to the hiding spot, hidden by a rock. You can either go back to your car or continue on to get the great stamps of The Great Tree Adventure. Have Fun.
