THIS STOP IS CLOSED

Southbound on I-75 brings you into Tennessee and the first rest stop. This is the Tennessee Welcome Center! So, Welcome to Tennessee.

From the main walk, go to the shelter on the right. This is a nice place to sit, nearly in the trees and a good place for the kiddies to run a bit....or walk the dog here too. From the tree to the right of the shelter (about 3.5 male paces) face up the path. Follow the path a short way up the hill 30 paces where there is a rather large tree right at the path.

Turn around and face the shelter. There is a beech tree at the path on your right. Further right, off the path, (about 3 paces), find the "box" under rocks at the base of a medium size beech tree. Rehide with care.

Enjoy your short respite here, drive on to your destination and please be careful
