Clues:

The Eyes of the Dragon is a tale of archetypal heroes and sweeping adventures, of dragons and princes and evil wizards - as only Stephen King can tell it.

After parking, walk to the Airline State Park Trail Map. The trail starts on the right side of the Map Board. Follow the trail and take a left onto the Airline Trail. You will come to a wooden bridge - as you cross it, look to the right and see a field just beyond the river. That is where you are heading. Continue on the Airline Trail until you see a trail that crosses it. The trail to the left goes to Private Property - a quarry. Take the trail to the right, which winds down to the field. When you reach the field, take a reading of 150 degrees. You are going to the southeast far corner of the field bringing you to the trail you seek. Follow the trail a short distance to find a T intersection. The right takes you to the river. Go left instead which will begin to climb slightly uphill. A short ditance you will see a small boulder on the right side of the trail. Stop here and take a reading of 120 degrees. You will see a small rock outcropping about 13 steps from the trail. See a tree on the right side of the outcropping that abutts it? That's where you'll find your prize. As you're stamping in, listen carefully. You might hear Flagg's 2 headed parrot squaking "Death" "Murder".

This is a lovely place to explore, but the trails are not marked. Keep safe and go back the way you came to get back to your car.

Enjoy!
