Last year my hubby and I were lucky enough to go to Mardi Gras in New Orleans with my cousin and her hubby. We had a great time and collected enough beads to fill a large suitcase, which weighed 80 pounds!!! Honest, we only caught them from the parade people, not by flashing anything! Anyway, on to the clues.
These boxes are located in the Bartlett Brook Wildlife Management Area. Be sure to wear blaze orange during hunting season. This trail is a little overgrown in places. There are two parking lots for this wildlife area. You want the one that is on Rt. 16. You can find this parking lot from the intersection of Rt. 207 by following Rt. 16 for 1.4 miles. Look for a dirt driveway on the left. You may be able to see a wooden signboard from the road. Park near the signboard.
You will find the logbook in the second box.
Go past the green gate. Very quickly you will turn right and go through a stone wall. Stay on this trail. If you have any doubts about the way to go, bear right. Before you go through the next wall, follow it at 240* for 24 steps to the "arch" stone. Look behind the stone door next to the arch for Masquerade.
Return the way you came. Just before going through the very first wall you originally went through, spy a two-sister tree on your right with a hollow base. Go to this tree. Cross over the wall and look for the stone door to the right of the tree. Here you will find It's a Jazz Thing.
As always, please rehide the boxes better than you found them.
Happy hunting!
I would like to thank Burning Feet for taking over this series.
