New logbook 08/12/2007
No not Milhouse Van Houten (Bart Simpson's friend), but rather the 37th President, Richard Milhouse Nixon.
This box (quick drive by - no admission required) is located near the birthplace of our 37th president. This little farmhouse has been fully restored in its original location on this 8.2 acre ranch, now a museum and library. The Library has recently completed its replica of the White House East Room. The museum is located on Yorba Linda Blvd just west of Imperial Hwy (Richard Nixon Parkway). As you pull into the parking lot (entrance facing new East Room - large white bldg) turn immediately to the right, and try to park in the first space to your right. The box is located 8 feet, northwest (toward museum) from the parking curb about 1 foot into hedge, 2 feet up from ground. Please re-hang this camouflaged box so as to keep it hidden from grounds-keepers; and as always, please respect the property and avoid any damage to the hedge. Thank you.
