OFFICIALLY RETIRED 3/10/2007

This year, the world is celebrating the 250th anniversary of W.A. Mozart's birth. The house where he was born in Salzburg, Austria is now a museum and they are having a special exhibit this year called Viva! Mozart. This box will be out for this year only.

From the intersection of North St./South St. (Bus. 59) and Hwy 21, head South on South Street for 1.5 miles. You will see a sign on your left that says Pioneer Park. Turn left at this sign and go through a residential neighborhood. You will turn right onto Pioneer Street, cross the bridge, and turn right again. Follow this road until you come to a playground on your right. Find a place to park and head to the playground.

To the box:

Stand on the West side of the playground, with your back to the playground. Take 43 steps to a picnic table. (The picnic table is not nailed down. In the event that the picnic table is moved, look for the concrete slab where the table should be.)

Stand on the west end of the picnic table and take 22 steps to a tree directly in front of you. Turn to your left. You are now facing the woods. At the edge of the woods, you will see a tall, thin, tree with no top. Behind it and to the right is a dark fallen log. The box is behind this log under leaves and sticks.

NOTE: There were beer cans/bottles littering the edge of the woods, so please be careful as I'm not familiar with this park or the neighborhood.

Please let me know the status of this box.
