THIS LETTERBOX IS CURRENTLY NOT AVAILABLE...LOOKING FOR NEW LOCATION...BE BACK SOON
This is our first Letterbox we have planted. The stamp was designed by our 10yr. old daughter. We decided to put the Oak Glen Letterbox at the Oak Glen Village. Our daughters enjoy going to see the animals, see the museum, see the trout pond, and during a certain time of the year they go and pick apples. Lot of different restaurants in the area and shops. Just a nice place to visit, with many things to do.
Clues:
Off of the 10 freeway get off at Beaumont ave.
Go North
Beaumont ave. will then turn into Oak Glen Drive
Find your way to the Oak Tree Village. (Is 10.5 miles once you get off of the freeway.)
Pull in the parking lot and park.
Get out of your vechile.
Lock your vechile. You don't want the deer to drive off with your vechile (The deer behind your vechile).
See the Mountain Town Animal Museum.
Proceed on the dirt road on the right of the Museum, going behind the mining shack.
Walk for a short distance until you reach the tree right smack in the middle of the dirt road.
Now look to your left.
See the three tress lined up right off the dirt road.
Go to the middle tree.
Next to the very small tree stump there is a rock covered with leaves.
The Oak Glen Letterbox is there.
Please re-hide with care...Let my daughter know what you think of her stamp.
One last thing to do now....ENJOY THE REST OF YOUR DAY!!!
