Seltjarnarnes LbNA #20381 (ARCHIVED)

Next to the city of Reykjavik there is a small community called Seltjarnarnes. If you follow the road along the water around Seltjarnarnes, you will find a small wooden shack. It smells pretty bad because it's used to dry fish, so you'll know when you've found it! On the other side of the shack is a man made hot pot that is carved into a big rock and filled with wonderfully warm water, just the thing to warm your toes- so take off your shoes, relax and enjoy the scenery. Look up in the direction toward the lighthouse and then down at the rocks that border the grass that you were standing on before you walked down toward the hot pot.

After you're done warming your feet, walk up to those rocks bordering the grass. Walking toward the direction of the lighthouse, you will see a small cluster of rocks along the grass that are small enough to be moved. Many of the others are too large or heavy. Under these you will find the Island box!

After you're done, head out to the lighthouse for a nice walk, but make sure the tide isn't coming in or you'll get stranded over there! Then go for a dip in the neighborhood pool and email us so you can rub it in!
