One hundred sixty acre Greasewood Park is billed as Tucson’s first natural desert park and is also home to a permanent orienteering course. While most birds do just fine without map and compass, this letterbox will test your orienteering skills. The park is located a couple of miles west of I-10 at the intersection of Greasewood and Speedway.

When you find yourself within spittin’ distance of a concrete marker at 130º magetic, look for a couple of peaked roofs. One covers a ramada at 64º and the other is on a downtown highrise at 92º. Walk to the first palo verde tree at 18º and search around its dripline for two big rocks side by side.
