This bridge was built before 1700, to accomodate a resident of Medfield in accessing his hay land on this side of the river. The bridge is no longer, but the foundation remains, and remnants are visible to canoers. The street ends in a turn-around.

Follow the street to it's end, the turn-around, and park here. You will find a gravel "path" (wide enough to drive down, but don't drive down it). Follow the path to the water's edge. You will see the foundation remnants across the water. After enjoying the water, turn around and walk back to the artificially smooth brown "tree" on your right. Walk 32 steps back up the path. You will notice a carved Beech tree on your right (the letters ACD), and off the path on your left, a thick pine tree with a skinny pine tree growing right in front. Turn left and walk 15 steps to the thick pine tree. Behind it you will find what you seek.

This is my very first plant, I was excited to get it set out. Hopefully it's high enough that Spring flooding won't steal it. Please be sure to re-hide/anchor it well with this thought in mind.

When 'boxing during the summer, bug spray is probably a good idea.

Let me know how it's doing when you find it. :)
