Origami paper cranes are a universal symbol of peace. It is with the hope of a more peaceful world that this box is being planted.

The box contains a log book, a handcarved stamp and a Ziploc bag full of small origami paper cranes. All finders of this box may choose a paper crane to take home with them. Please take only one per person, and let us know if the supply appears to be running low (less than 10 left).

The box is a drive by. Here are your directions...

Go to the dirtiest part of the lightest colored street in town. Across the street from an old, rotted stump is a large rock shaped like a piece of pizza. Behind and under this rock, hidden by a few smaller rocks is the Peace Crane Letterbox.

Please rehide carefully. Please be gentle with the cranes so that they are not crushed.

Enjoy your peace crane.
