Boxes 2, 3 and 4 have gone missing or been scavenged so don't go looking for them. #1 is still okay.

Refer to Wildcat Canyon #1 and 2 for directions to the starting point and other important information.

Box #3 - Camp Bay Crab
From the parking lot, take the path at the SE end of the parallel parking. Before the obelisk (there are many obelisks in this area but this is the first I spotted) take the high road. When you pass the picnic area, stay level. Continue on the path down a bit with houses on the right. Curve around the facilities to the left. There's a big old tree by the fence that holds box #1 in a big hole on the fence side.
There are quite a few people using this park so take care and make sure you cover the box up again when you leave.

Head SE down to the big green area. Cross the stone bridge, go through the hole in the wall on the other side and walk along the creek. Pass Camp Bouquet, cross the creek and climb the hill to the path you started on.

Box #4 - Purple Rain
I wouldn't suggest this one during or right after a rain. It gets pretty muddy and this box won't protect you.

From the parking area, head up the hill. Now pull out the directions to Wildcat Canyon Box #2. That box seems to be missing although, given enough uninterrupted time to dig around, you never know what you might find.
From the spot where Box #2 should be, head back down the hill. Pass the shade giving palm and the sanatorium sign. Just before the gate (you can't see it yet but you can hear the squeak if someone is coming), go up to the grove of eucalyptus trees on the hill on the right. Once inside the grove, there's an up and down branch running north/south on the ground. Where an up crosses over a branch running east/west, look for the box.

That’s it for now so you can continue hiking or head back to the parking lot. Maybe later there will be a 5 and 6.
