This box is hidden at the off-leash dog park at Golden Gardens park in Ballard. This is our first box we have hidden, and it should be a fairly easy find.

Golden Gardens:
8498 Seaview Pl. NW

Here are the directions to the dog park:

From I-5:

Take 85th St Exit and head west. You will follow this street all the way until the street ends, then right at the stop sign on 32nd ave. The road then curves past houses and winds down directly to the off-leash area. The entrance is the first parking area you come to on your right.
If you would like you can also find a place to park by 85th and 32nd and there are stairs to walk down to this park. Make sure you are up for it, it is quite a walk. Lots of fun to walk down there, nice area. BUT, don't forget you have to walk back up! =-)

CLUES:
Just north of the parking-lot for the off-leash area there is a public bathroom. Start here. Standing next to the womens side of the bathroom there are some stairs on your left. Go down 10 stairs, you will see a trail leading off on your left. Take that trial. Take this loose gravel trail about 66 steps, the gravel will stop and then start again after about 20 steps. Once the gravel trail starts again you will go an additional 30 steps and you will see a small trail heading off on your left. (You can see the parking lot on the left above you). Go up this trail about 5 steps, the first tree you see on your right when going up the trail, behind that tree, under some bushes, covered by some fallen tree branches is the BALLARD BARK BOX!

If you want to walk down to the Golden Gardens Beach, you can go back down to this gravel trail and it will take you down there!

Please make sure to re-hide this box well with branches! It the box needs any attention, please let us know. Contact us when you find it! This is our first box we have hid! Have fun!
