~This letterbox is dedicated to all of the people that have ever been in love. The kind of first love that is pure and sweet and innocent. The kind of love that hopefully everyone has enjoyed 8-)

You will need to do a little research to find the actual starting point, but there are plenty of clues given so it shouldn't be too hard.

You will also need to bring markers for this box as there is no ink pad and it really does look better in color(s).

"Proposal Rock, a 17 acre addition to the Coney Rock Preserve, was later purchased at a bargain price from Leonora Mullane. It is so named because her father proposed to her mother at one of the rocks near the abandoned portion of Woodland Rd."

The Story/Clues:

Joshua was a young man from a good family that worked hard and was honest and fair.

Emily was a beautiful young girl from a solid family who was kind and sweet.

The two were childhood sweethearts that would go fishing, play catch, go swimming and enjoy all of the wonderful activities of growing up in the country together.

They went to school together and Joshua even stole his first kiss from Emily on the playground.
One day when they were both eighteen Joshua asked Emily to go for a walk with him.
They went for a walk on the old wood's road behind her family's home. They walked on a golden "yellow" path that brought them quickly across a wooden bridge. They keep on walking and soon they were on the old road.
As they walked, they were talking and laughing.

A little way down the road Joshua pointed out a big group of very large rocks on the right. One that was especially pretty, just like Emily, was covered in moss.

Joshua reached out and took Emily by the hand.

He pointed to a beautiful golden "yellow" mark on the tree next to the path in front of the rocks. They walked seven more steps and then he pointed to a little cave just up the hill in the rocks on the right.

She was excited by it, as she had never noticed it before. She wanted to go explore. When they reached the tiny cave Joshua got down on one knee and reached to his right as if to start exploring. Then he reached in his pocket and asked Emily the question that he had wanted to ask her for so long...

We really hope you enjoyed the story, the research, the walk, and the letterbox. You can return the way that you came. We also really hope that this has brought back the memory of that first love for you too.
