This is our first. This box is dedicated to KnightsofColumbo. Thanks for the intro into letterboxing!
After locating the obelisk at Signal Hill, Manassas, read it and wonder what it was like on July 21st , 1861 a warm breeze blowing in from behind you, 0845 am. As you ponder this statement “Look out for your left. You are turned” walk to the left up a slight hill along the roadway to the large oak split in growth (about fifty feet from this historical spot) to the small tree just past it. This dying tree has a small hole near the base that holds a fish. Not a fish tale. Be careful re-hiding this box, cars driving by may be curious. Three parking spots, easy to find if you read the clues, small hill may be challenging but grass is cut and maintained.
