The VanGoes to Slater Park
Enter the park from the main, go on by...
The chainlink place where the balls fly.
Proceed to the triangle fork, bear right.
On the left, the children will be in your sight.
Go down the hill pass the line of pine,
Ahead will be where the cars cannot go,
Follow the yellow broken line.
In front of you will see...
A piece of Pawtucket hisory!
Then follow the river South past a sea of weeds.
On your left what a sight to see...
The twin towers of electricity.
Go under, where the whistle's blow...
Give a holla "hello" you will hear your echo.
Look to the right....
A snakelike creature will give you a bit of a fright!
(if not removed)
A winding you will go...
To where the fence will no longer be,
To a telltale SSign on a tree.
Count 15 paces you will see...
A trail leading SouthEast.
Whatever you do...
Remember paces are feet of two.
Follow the trail to a tree of 6 trunks.
Count 8 1/2 paces to a tree sticking out of the ground,
IS where your letterbox will be found.
Good Luck and Happy Hunting!!
