*THIS BOX IS MISSING DUE TO PARK BOARD REMOVING THE BUSH IT WAS HIDING IN. I'LL REHIDE ASAP. WATCH FOR UPDATED CLUE.*

I've adopted this letterbox and the clues from Janene. It has a hand carved stamp, but bring your own ink pad.

The quest begins at Middle Park Band Shell in Bettendorf, IA.
From I-74, get off on the Middle Rd. exit and head east. Take a right (south) on 23rd St. and go a little way (1/4 mile or so). You will see it on your left. There is a big green playground that your eyes can’t miss.

This quest should take you 25-30 minutes. I hope you enjoy it!

***********************************************************

Look to the north
The field must be crossed.
Don’t go through the trees
Or you might get lost.

Past the parking on your left
And the trees to your right,
You will find a little path
Soon within your sight.

First steer toward the right,
Just a few steps you will need
Then take a left instead of right
And go up to proceed.

Make sure to follow the arrow
And take a peek below.
Once you cross go down and around,
Then under you will go.

Walk along the path
‘Til right or left you go.
Towards a birdhouse and a bench
If you want to know.

Keep strolling down the winding path.
A shelter you will note
Then to a great big oval
That looks kind of like a moat.

Heading to the right,
Circling leisurely,
Not too far along the rim
A tiny bridge you’ll see.

Once there look over your right shoulder
And out the corner of your eyes
You’ll see the biggest hill
To the top there you must rise.

When it flattens out
Waiting there for you
Will be a big white area
With little pebbles, too.

When you’ve reached this lot
Pretend that you’re a van
Then start your engine and go out
The only way vans can.

Just stick to the road
A little ways, you see.
Make sure to “Do Not Enter”
‘Cause then too far you’ll be.

You’ll see on your left
Just a little way out.
An overpass of red and gray
When you get there, turn about.

Up on the hill
Grows a hedge of evergreens
Like a bird, in the end bush,
Is the box of your dreams.
