THIS BOX HAS RECENTLY COME UP MISSING, SAD TO SAY. IT MAY BE REPLACED LATER.

This is a real old cemetary that apparent used to have a church in front of it. The foundation of the church is all that remains to be seen from the road and you have to go through it to get to the cemetary.

To get there, take highway 44. About two miles west of Connersville, you will pass a big newish church on the right. Shortly after that, you will turn left onto the only road that cuts through the subdivision. The subdivision is only on the left and the road only goes to the left. Travel up the hill and keep going until you come to the tip top of another, steeper hill going down. The "Tate Cemetary" sign is right there on your left-hand side. You can park your car right in front of the old church foundation, but be sure you can see the road clearly behind and in front of you so the cars can also see you. Turn on your flashers!

Take your time and mosey around checking things out. You'll notice many of the headstones are just old rocks like you find in a creekbed, with no names or anything on them. Make your way all the way to the very back of the grave yard to a partially uprooted tree that is leaning towards the left. The box you're looking for is underneath. Cover it very very well please as the opening is sorta big. Have fun and be safe!
