From I-40, take exit 53 and drive east on State Highway 66. This is historic U. S. Highway 66. At mile marker 80 is a bridge over Truxton Wash. Park at the southeast end of the bridge immediately after crossing the bridge.
Near where you park is a moderately large very old dead tree with a small pile of old gray concrete under its southwest side. From there, walk at about 136 degrees (from mag. north) for about 75 steps to a large flat rock (about 2 ½ x 2 feet in size) lying flat on the ground. This flat rock is against a group of upright boulders. The box is hidden on the south side of the flat rock under some rocks and plant debris.
Please be sure the contents are double ziplocked when you put them back in the box (i.e. the stamp is in a ziploc, the book is in a ziploc, and the two are in the larger ziploc bag), and put all of it INSIDE the box. Please rehide the box well under the rocks and plant debris so that it can not be seen from any direction.
