On a barren hill, in a tiny park, in the city where our nation's pledge was written, you may find a memorial to my name. Find the south entrance to this place and walk 100 paces along a dark and windy path until you stand between an Oak Tree and a large round rock. Turn West and walk 30 paces to a place bearing my name.
Read the inscription there, and count the number of letters in the last sentence. From a nearby rusty pole, walk North this exact number of steps.
Accomplishing this, look almost directly West. You should see a double-trunked oak on the other side of a small rise. Walk 22 paces to this tree; search near "Scott + Sue," beneath leaves, branches and stones and you will find something to keep my memory alive.
My treasure is in a public place, take care that you are not seen and hide my treasure well.
