Status of Mini-box: Alive and Well on 2/7/07
The "Eeyore" mini-box is located in Eisenhower Park, in northeast Houston area. This is a nice Natural park, with low usage.
Directions:
From Hwy 59 north, take Beltway 8 going east. Look for brown sign for park, and go left (Lake Houston Parkway). Left on Aqueduct Road, and right on Eisenhower Parkway. Enter park and go right at stop sign. Find parking area on the left (Picnic are, with green sign for Nature Trail).
To the Mini-box:
Walk the Nature trail all the way through to another road. Turn around and and go back on same trail, counting 43 steps from the "Nature Trail" sign. Turn right, and go off trail at 280 degrees for 18 steps. Turn right and go to back of large oak tree 6 steps away. Left of that are 2 trees growing together. The box is hanging on the back side of these, about 3 feet off the ground. Please re-hang by the clip. Let me know the status of this box: babybearlb2002@yahoo.com
