Bring your colors, there are no ink pads in these
boxes. Green, brown,
black, red and yellow will work great.

More Butter Flutter Marsh Walk

These boxes are planted at the Wequetequock Salt Marshes and using the same directions and trails as Jay Drew’s Clues . So you might want to print off his clues and hunt his boxes as well. This is a great walk with chances to see many water birds. Take all the cautions during hunting and bug season .

Walk, following the Wequetequock Salt Marshes clues, on the wide paths and dikes and after about a mile or so you reach the Cemetery. Find the opening in the wall. On the other side of the trail is a lovely large flat stone that is perfect to sit and rest , or have a snack. Reach behind and under with a stick and find Marsh Birds.

When you are ready to return, notice as you walk up the small hill, that a large tree on the right has branches that arch over the trail. Here behind that tree you will find Marsh Cats. Please make sure the baggies and boxes are closed well and hidden from view.

Enjoy the other letterboxes along the way if you have Time !!
