It is September 12 in the year 2010. We have been contacted by the mother ship and have had to abandon our site for computer upgrades (we were still running with windows 96), debriefing and orders to set up a new point of operations. As soon as our new base is ready for us we will re-post with some changes to the directions so that you can locate us. See you soon.

FYI - This involves a steep climb up Dundee Mountain and involves a lot of steps.

Directions from Dundee: Head east on Highway F. Ahead, on this road you can see your destination, Dundee mountain. As you start out on Hwy F there is a old Grist mill on your left. drive a quarter of a mile further, you will see on your left a small driveway. Park in this driveway. There is a gate, but this isn’t Area 51 and you can go in.

As you head down the road beyond the gate you come to a winding trail, follow it until you reach stairs and a sign to your right. Count the first set of stairs. Multiply that number by 2. Take that many paces along the trail. Then, keep going!! Walk until you are at the top of a second set of stairs. This is the landing/launch pad. On a clear day, at 195 degrees, you can see the Kewaskum Sunburst ski hill, which is around ten miles away from this alien landing/launch pad. The aliens landed here on the third Saturday of July 2005. Climb the second set of stairs. Here you will see the parking lot for smaller starcraft. It is going down the hill horizontally, with logs every 5-6 feet. My Dad said when he was a kid, in the Sixties, there was a motorcycle hill climb here and he said he feels bad how eroded the hill became because of it. (If you are wondering why the aliens chose such a high and remote spot to land, it is because they like to be far away from crowds and near the stars.) Climb until you see a sign that says ‘Welcome to the Summit!’. Now, as I’m sure you will be pleased to know, all the stairs are downhill from here. Go down the first set of stairs leading down the hill. ( BE CAREFUL, IT IS A BIT STEEP). Take eight paces from the base of the stairs. To your left you will see a large, broken tree in the shape of the alien’s first letter of the alphabet, V.(Notice, the aliens have been under direct laser fire and the left side of the base has taken a direct hit and sustained permanent damage. The aliens are still holding down the fort) The starcraft is parked in the middle of these trees. For those who remember the TV series Lost In Space, you will find you recognize this ship.
****A Note From the Four Happy Wanderers*****************
Please do not remove the aliens from their ship. They are royalty and harming them will cause an interplanetary incident which will undoubtedly result in total galactic annihilation ( or at least destruction of ½ of Dundee, Hamburger House* and Benson’s Hideaway*). Some info on our ‘friends’: They are the twin Jellyrobe rulers which are bald. Their names are Prince Shamalamadingdong and Prince Apapaoomoumou. Please do not attempt to pronounce these names as is will result in your untimely demise due to either suffocation or permanent constant flatulence. Their attendants are Minty Fresh, (He is green) and Cinnamon Burst (he is red). They are of no relation to either Power Rangers or Dentyne gum. And don’t mention anything about that as they are somewhat sensitive. They took a lot of ribbing in grade school for it. Tough on their planet. The reason they are stranded is that they are out of fuel and need a few ounces of high test stamp-pad ink to get their craft running. You would think a highly intelligent race like theirs would have a fuel gauge in their ship but their planet’s government’s always use the lowest bid on everything and rather than pay extra for an ad they went without.

*Directions to Benson’s Hideaway tavern : Take State highway 67 three miles out of Dundee following along Long lake. Turn right on Boy Scout Road. Bout a another ½ mile. Open Tuesday- Friday at 11am and Saturday-Sunday at 10am. They have a grille there with a pretty nice menu and Friday Fish fry (Yum!) delicious and we suggest you go there! If Bill is behind the bar, mention You saw a UFO by Dundee mountain and see his eyes light up!!! He has alien collections in the bar.
*Directions to Hamburger Haus: Downtown Dundee. They are even more delicious and we recommend you go there too! They have ICE CREAM ICE CREAM ICE CREAM ICE CREAM ICE CREAM ICE CREAM ICE CREAM ICE CREAM ICE CREAM ICE CREAM ICE CREAM ICE CREAM ICE CREAM ICE CREAM ICE CREAM ICE CREAM oh and some other stuff can’t remember right now………

Note: This was our 12 year olds letterbox including her 1st stamp creation. Great family activity!
