Warning: The community manager is on a rampage to keep non-residents off the property. If you are boxing on a Saturday or Sunday you are fine. The office is open Monday-Friday and she may run you out of the parking area. I will relocate the boxes soon. I haven't pulled them yet.

This series of boxes was created by kids for kids. The boxes are placed in fun areas and are easy to find. They are in a subdivision but are purposefully placed in common areas.

You will find the boxes in the subdivision of Wellesley. Wellesley is located in Richmond's far West End off of Lauderdale Drive, 2 blocks from the Short Pump Town Center Mall. From I-64 take the Short Pump exit, go 6 lights and turn left onto Lauderdale Drive. At the next light turn left onto Park Terrace and quickly turn left into the Towne Center parking lot.

The Wellesley Lake is home to lots of ducks and geese. So remember to bring along some bread to feed the birds. They are especially hungry in the winter.

“Quack, Quack”, the first box in the series, has been placed three times. The first time under a bench on the boardwalk and the second time on the gazebo. Each time the box was taken. This third spot is a distance from the others but hopefully it is a safer spot. Stand facing the parking lot with your back to the footbridge. Go to your left towards the dam and get onto the paved path. There is a guard rail along the left side of the path, over the lake. Walk to the end of the guardrail. In the final loop you will find "Quack, Quack" inside a ziplock bag and a magnetized key box. The log book is tiny so you may have to stamp in a portion of your stamp. There is an exercise area here where you may sit to log in without looking too obvious. Please re-hide well so that the baggie and box are not visible to walkers. Don't forget to stop and feed the ducks!

Walk back to the parking lot and cross the footbridge. Walk between the buildings and up the stone walkway or stairs. At the top, look to your right. Follow the sidewalk around to the playground up the hill on your right.

On the playground you will find “Pitter-Patter.” Parents may have a seat while your kids play a while. Kids, look near the slide and around the green poles. Here you find the “pitter-patter” of little feet. Carefully replace the micro-box film canister and walk back down to the center island in the parking lot. Walk to the mailbox and get onto the sidewalk behind it. This sidewalk will take you under Lauderdale Drive.

The tunnel will lead you to “Ribbit, Ribbit.” Follow the sidewalk up the hill and take a sharp left at the first intersection and walk between the tennis courts. Continue straight on the sidewalk until it joins with a black paved path that curves left. Continue on the paved path until you reach the footbridge. Stop when you get to the far end of the footbridge. This pond is home to many frogs that you can hear croaking late into the night during the summer months. As you step off the foot bridge go to the right. There is a tree with 5 trunks, 3 on the right and 2 on the left. To the left of the 2 trunks, under a small pile of rocks, you will discover “Ribbit, Ribbit”. This is a high traffic area, please re-hide well.

The last box you will find is “Woof, Woof.” Keep trailing on the path until you reach a doggy sign and trashcan. Stand behind the sign and take 25 paces. Once you do, you should reach a guardrail. Look inside the big loop and you will find “Woof, Woof.” Please tuck the box back inside the rail out of sight.
