From the corner of NE 98th Street and 17th Ave NE, head north down the hill on 17th Ave NE. At the end of the road will be a guardrail – go over the rail and follow the path into the park. Continue on the main path all the way down to the creek. At this location will be a rock retaining wall on the same side of the creek that you are standing, that is falling into the creek. You may want to stand back – never know when it will continue to slide.

As you face the creek, to your right will be a path that follows right along the edge of the creek. Follow the path a little way into a small clearing. There will be a cluster of oak trees directly in front of you. To your right are a rotting stump and a log that lies right in front of it. Come during April and notice the many patches of blooming Trilliums!

Start looking for the letterbox where the base of the stump and the log meet. The letterbox is hidden behind the stump under leaves and stuff.
