Difficutly: Easy
Distance to Mini-box: About 1/4 mile
Status of Mini-box: Stamp has been replaced!!!
The "Jiminy Cricket" mini-box is located at Blue Hole Park, on the San Gabriel River. See Silver Eagle's "Pocket Wocket" for more park details and history.
Directions:
Going north from Austin on I-35, exit Lake Georgetown/Andice and turn right on Williams. Turn right again on Business 35, which is Austin Ave. After crossing the river, turn right on 3rd street, cross Rock street, and park in lot on the right for Blue Hole Park.
To the Mini-box:
Walk down Rock street toward the river. Bend around past the spillway until you come to the bathroom building. Go behind this building and look for the row of boulders. Go between the middle boulders and walk 55 steps. Find the large round rock on the left (5 yards off the trail). The box is behind this rock, under a rock pile. Please re-cover well!
