Clues

Take Business 40 WEST toward Winston Salem, North Carolina. Take Linville Road EXIT. Go Right at light and go across the bridge. Pass 2 gas stations, come around a small curve pass over Salem Lake and park on the right hand side of the road in a small parking lot (do not block the gate). Take the dirt/gravel trail below the lot that is next to the lake. The lake is going to be on your right.

This Box is BOX # 2 in a series of FOUR BOXES.
From where you found BOX # 1 called "Where Trees Grow and Kids Climb" at Salem Lake is where you are going to start.

After finding Box 1 return to the path you have been walking on keep walking with Salem Lake on you right hand side. Walk 115 steps and to your right you'll see trees laying in the water. Stop and just admire the lake. From there take another 85 steps and on your right is a nice place you can go fishing if you would like. Look to you left and you'll see a pipe that runs along left side of a hill from the spot you were just at. Just beyond the pipe on your left there is an over turned stump, look up the hill and you'll see a BIG BIG tree that has fallen down. Go search behind that tree on the left side under some big bark. This is where you'll find what you seek. Take some watermelon to eat, but watch the ants. They like watermelon too.

Please let us know when you find this box.

From here you can keep going to find BOX #'s 3 and 4 if you would like. It is not much more down the road, but the walk is enjoyable.
Box number 3 is called, "Keep the Campfires Burning". Box number 4 is called, "Keep on Canoeing".
