This letterbox is at the Kettlehole Trail on Avery Hill Rd. Extension in Gales Ferry. The kettlehole itself was left behind by a glacier. It's a very short, flat trail and appropriate for families.
From the trailhead at the parking lot, follow the trail around towards the back of the kettlehole. As the trail curves to the right, look for a fallen tree on the left. Look under the end of the tree where it meets the stump.
This is my first box so I hope you enjoy it!
