About a mile east of Georgia Avenue on Norbeck Road (Route 28), turn left into East Norbeck Park. Park in the lot and look for a large yellow tube. Slide past it on its left and begin your counterclockwise walk.
Keep walking and if you’re a swinger, you may want to swing high.
If you’re weary, you may want to rest in the home team’s foul territory.
Chant, if you wish:
“We’re Number Two!”
“We’re Number Two!”
You may be in left field but you’re doing alright!
At center field continue down an incline.
Keep walking past 2 enormous evergreens on your right.
Keep walking where homeruns happen.
Now walk up a grass hill or “ramp.”
Take a left turn at a rusty striped metal pole. (It's there--You just have to look hard!)
If you reach an upright rusty metal pole--Green is its main stripe color, you have gone about 10 steps too far, so do turn around.
Take 20 paces through the underbrush and arrive at a triangle of old trees. (Look for the few remaining brittle pinecones hanging from their long dead arms.)
Look for the northernmost tree.
Look at its base and there you will see
Underneath branches and leaves and debris,
A letterbox hidden by WeThree!
(Checked on September 5, 2010--Still there even with the ICC construction in sight!)
