“9 Lives Traveling Series” -- Here Kitty, Kitty Letterbox
The “Here Kitty, Kitty” letterbox is located in Allegheny county Pennsylvania.
· Traveling South on I 79 you will need to stop at the rest area that comes up directly before Exit 48 (Hendersonville/South Pointe). If you see a Washington county sign, you have gone too far.
· I am not sure if this rest stop has a name but there is a very faded sign in front of the building that reads “Native Plants of Pennsylvania”.
· Once you have parked your car and you should start walking right on the sidewalk and go all the way to the end.
· Walk up the grass at about a 45-degree angle for approximately 48 – 50 paces to a small group of trees.
· Standing between the second and third tree look behind third tree and you will see a small pile of rocks.
· Remove the rocks carefully and you will find our “Here Kitty, Kitty” letterbox. Congratulations and ENJOY!
· Please close the letterbox securely and rebury it well so it will not be found accidentally.
Note: You will need to bring your own stamp pad and pen
