This box was replaced on June 4, 2011 in the same location only now it is in a bag instead of a box.

I love walking around in cemeteries, and sometimes you find some very unique and strange looking sites. Well this is one of those sites, so I will share it with you and let you decide what to think. Let me know what your thoughts are.

Directions: This lb is located in the old Jacksonville City Cemetery. To get to the cemetery, take Hwy 69 north over the overpass (going towards Tyler). At the traffic light at the bottom of the overpass, turn left onto Cherokee Street. At the first stop sign, turn right onto North Bolton Street. Go through the yellow flashing light and at the first traffic light, turn left onto Kickapoo Street. Go exactly 1 mile to the 1st entrance of the cemetery on your right side. The cemetery is not signed, but you cannot miss it.

Clues
From the first entrance, go straight on the road until you see a fork in the road with a wrought iron fence with 3 cedar trees inside the fence in the middle of the fork. Park in front of the fence and walk to the historical marker by the wrought iron fence. With your back to the historical marker walk straight ahead about 20 steps to a cedar tree across the road. Look ahead and to the left and you will see some iron ore stones stacked on top of each other. Walk to these stones (about 27 steps). From here you should see a headstone that says Atkison on it. Look to your right and you will see a headstone with Robinson. Go to the Robinson headstone and stand behind it. You should be looking at a cedar tree with a lot of undergrowth. Move to the left side of the Robinson headstone, still facing the cedar tree with undergrowth and to your left you will see about 7-8 graves that have iron ore rocks marking them. Walk straight ahead to the cedar tree with undergrowth about 11 steps. Look to your left and there should be a grave marked with several iron ore rocks. Take a good look at the top of this grave. Can you see the head and shoulders? Now to find the letterbox. Walk to the right side of the cedar tree with undergrowth and you should see a hollowed out section of the base of the tree. The box is under leaves and debris in this hollowed section.

So what do you think???

Please contact me and let me know the condition of the box and please recover the box really well
