This letterbox is a tribute to the victims and the heroes of September 11th and J thought this was the perfect location. She is from New York and has family that still lives there, including a member of the NYPD and a NYC EMS worker who were both a part of this tragedy.

Directions
These directions start at Lapoyner School on Highway 175 going north from Poyner/LaPoyner to Athens. From the school on 175, go 2 miles and turn right on 607. This road is a little curvy and has a couple of confusing turns, but just watch the signs and stay on 607. From the intersection of 175 and 607, you will go 4.3 miles to the New York cemetery on your right. Take a right on the road between the New York Cemetery and the New York Baptist Church and park in front of the historical marker.

Clues:
Next to the historical marker is a gate into the cemtery from the gate walk straight ahead 61 steps to 2 clumps of trees that form an archway. This letterbox is in the clump of trees to your left under the ususal debris.

Never forget those brave men and women!!

Please recover this box well and let me know the condition of the box.
