“9 Lives Traveling Series” -- Put your Best Paw Forward
REPORTED MISSING 8/11/11

The “Put your Best Paw Forward ” letterbox is located in Braxton county West Virginia.

I just heard that there is poison ivy around the stump where this box is located so please be careful. If anyone has any weed killer and can help me out by spraying this I would really appreciate it since I live out of state. Thanks

· Traveling on I 79 North you will need to stop at the rest area near Exit 51 Frametown. This is near Elks River
· I am not sure if this rest stop has a name but there is a large rock with a blue star on it that reads “Blue Star Memorial By-way”
· From the parking lot, take the dog walk that is off to the right of the rest stop building.
· Walk up the path toward the picnic area. Be sure to keep the building on your left side.
· You will come to a “V” in the path. Stay to the right side of the path. When you see the BBQ grill on your right. Stop.
· Look over your left shoulder. Do you see a light pole with the number 48 on it? You do, good you are progressing nicely toward the letterbox.
· Now continue up the path. On your right you will see the 1st picnic table. Look ahead on the right and you should see a 2nd picnic table.
· About ½ way between the two tables stop again and look between the tables. You should see several tree stumps.
· Check inside the first stump. You will need to remove some leaves and twigs to uncover one of our “9 Lives Traveling Series” letterboxes. Congratulations and ENJOY!
· Please close the letterbox securely and rebury it well so it will not be found accidentally.

Note: You will need to bring your own stamp pad and pen
