This box is not available for a short time as I have to make a new stamp.
I will notify when available again.
SORRY!

THE PROPERTY OWNER WISHES THAT THESE BOXES ONLY BE VISITED DURING DAFFODIL SEASON. THESE BOXES ARE NOW ONLY AVAILABLE April1st THROUGH MAY 25th. Sorry, I thought it was public access property. 8/10/2008.

This box is in a wonderful spot for sight seeing especially in the spring when the daffodils are in bloom.

THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT!!
DO NOT STEP ON THE DAFFODILS!!
This is a nature preserve for narcissis and you have to be careful not to harm the integrity of the preserve.

Thank you!!

Start out driving on route 202 in Litchfield to Route 118 If driving from Litchfield center, you will turn right onto Route 254 at the top of the hill.

Follow route 254 to Wigwam road. (right turn)

Follow Wigwam to Laurel Ridge. Parking is on the shoulder of the road.

Find the entrance to the fields that is flanked by 2 stone pillars. The first box is near the first LARGE tree on the left. Look around the back, and you'll find the first box hidden in the rocks at the base of the tree. Stamp your book, and place it back where you found it, and cover it well.

Hope you had fun,and maybe took some photos too.
