I planted this set for a letterboxig club at the school where I work. These boxes will probably not be around long though, because they are planted at a very well-maintained park and most every other box that has ever been hidden there has gone missing. So if you want them, get them soon!

This series is hidden at Bush Park in Salem.

1st Period: SCIENCE

Go to the baseball field that is closest to the playground and right next to the parking lot. *From home plate, look toward the catcher.
*See a bench off to the left a bit? Walk to it!
*Face Nell Crothers and look straight forward to see a bark path going downhill. Follow it
*Take the first side path off to the right.
*At the first tree on your left, look under ivy to find “SCIENCE.”

2nd Period: MATH

*From the SCIENCE box, go back to the big barkdust path and continue downhill 8+33-5+6 steps.
*Turn 270 degrees and take 21 divided by 3 steps.
*Turn a slight left and walk 3 x 5 steps.
*Follow the smaller path to the right (200 / 4) + 5 steps.
*Look at the base of the tree on your left to find "MATH."

3rd Period: ART

*Begin at the Bush House, next to the door that says “Please Use Front Door” and has two orange cones by the stairs.
*With your back to the orange cones, follow the blue arrow in front of you to the left around the circle to the first gravel path on your left.
*Walk straight past the Furin-Tsutsuji and turn right when you get to the many-armed tree.
*Feeling tired? You could sit down on the bench, but why not keep walking to the stairs? Have a seat on the first step.
*If you are really quiet, you may hear a tiny "ART" lesson being taught under the ivy near the first step.

4th Period: HEALTH

*From ART, continue on the paved path to the Bush Barn.
*What’s that? You rode your bike here? Well, you’ll want to park it at the bike rack. While you’re there, look next to the hedge; under some purple flowers and their leaves hides "HEALTH."

5th Period: FITNESS

*From the “Salem Soap Box Derby” sign/cement slab on Mission Street, walk uphill.
*Count 25 fence posts on your left and look in the grass.
*"FITNESS" is taking a break down there.

6th Period: SOCIAL STUDIES

*Continue up the Soap Box Derby Hill, over the white checkers and past the playground.
*Walk to the twin garbage cans and count 10 white lines.
*Take the path the to left.
*From the curb, take 140 steps.
*Look under a pile of wood near the building to find "SOCIAL STUDIES." Be sure to rehide well!

7th Period: MUSIC

*Find the orange-striped pole closest to Winter Street.
*Facing the pole, walk to the candy cane at your right.
*On your left is a log that is almost hidden under moss.
*Follow it to its right end and look at the base of the tree for "MUSIC."
Be careful of thorns at your feet!

8th Period: LANGUAGE ARTS

*Begin at that same orange-striped pole.
*Walk down the paved path, past the “Guidance of Youth.”
*At the T, go downhill to a set of three trees.
*Look at the base of the “holy” tree to find "LANGUAGE ARTS."
