Please note that this Letterbox has been reported missing and cannot be found.

General Information

The Portage Spillway was constructed to allow semi-controlled overflow of water during high water time in the spring of the year.

The Portage Spillway Wayside Park is located 1 KM south of the Portage la Prairie by-pass and is a day use area with particularly special facilities for wheelchair bound individuals. The beautiful park is complete with picnic areas and is a favorite local water recreation spot for fishing and boating.
