These letterboxes are in the Ives Center of Western Connecticut State University (Westside Campus). Enter through the Ives Concert Park entrance. Follow the paved path, past the gazebo, past the small garden, up to the concert stage on the water. Stand facing the stage and look left. You will see a gap in the stone wall. Walk through this and turn right. Follow this path past the catalpa bignonioreds (on your left). The path will wind left and you will come to a sign labeled "extended trails." Stand facing this sign and then head straight ahead. You will pass trees labeled with orange dots. Pass the little broken down bridge. You will come to a clearing. Continue straight (into the woods). On your right will be a small pond and on your left is a stone wall. Look for a tree with a big "mouth." Next to this tree, in the stone wall is Ives Letterbox #1.

Continue to travel forward with the stone wall on your left. Pass a large, blackened, standing dead stump. Continue forward until you see a large "stuck up" rock. In front of this rock is a cluster of smaller rocks. Letterbox #2 is within these rocks. UPDATE - 2ND BOX MAY NO LONGER BE AVAILABLE. WE HAVE RECEIVED A FEW EMAILS SAYING IT WASN'T FOUND.

Good Luck,
M&J
