[Thanks for the first aid Free Frog! -Choi]

We have been letterboxing for about a year, now. Our whole family enjoys it - especially my youngest daughter.

Our family recently relocated to the SW VT area and it has been a tough transition for all. Our saving grace was my youngest's school: the Early Childhood Center (ECC) at Bennington College. We have been privledged to meet so many wonderful people - all welcoming and full of warmth & acceptance. We are blessed to call some of these wonderful people friends and hope to continue our friendships long after our children "graduate" from this amazing program.

This spring, when her preschool classmates were each working on their individual independant study, she decided that hers would be printmaking - and that she would create a letterbox for the school/class. Thus the ECC Letterbox was born. She sketched out & created the stamp and even decided on the hiding spot and helped with directions. She hopes you will enjoy it as much as she did.

enter the campus at the main gate.
take the first turn where you see the sign for maintenance and ECC, then park near the ECC.
Start at the southern gate of the ECC
Go out the gate & take a right
Walk up the hill to the first sign
Turn to your left and face the mountain – that’s Mt. Anthony
Walk straight past one big tree, and then stop at the second tree
With your body facing Mt. Anthony, look to your left and see the pine trees
Walk to the cluster of large pine trees
The first pine tree that you come to is the one that you want
Check around it’s base for the treasure buried under rock and wood
(be careful for sharp sticks and protruding roots)
Have fun!!!

After stamping, please replace the box as you found it – hide well!
Please let us know the status of the box if you can...
Thanks… and I hope you enjoyed letterboxing!!
