Originally built as a Shrine temple in 1920, the Helena Civic Center is now owned by the City of Helena. The Helena Civic center offers the community a unique place to enjoy concerts, conferences, conventions, banquet, balls, expositions, art shows and special events. The Helena Civic Center is located on the corner of Neill, Benton, and Park Avenues.
Behind the Civic Center (East side) you will find Kay McKenna Park. The park is located at the corner of Getchell and Stuart streets. If you are facing the Civic Center you will see tennis courts to your left also there will be a fixed trash can in the bottom left hand corner of the park. Just above this trash can (and a little to your right) is a concrete retaining wall with shrubs planted on it. Under these shrubs on top of the retaining wall you will see several rocks, The letterbox is under the flattest of these rocks right up against the inside of the retaining wall.
