7/8/06 Survived the great flood. The hole in the tree is full of mud though. Hopefully when the water goes down the mosquitoes will go too, it's wretched here now.

Or a short hop, depends. This is in Cabin John Regional Park. Park your car at the McDonnell campground entrance off of Tuckerman Lane. There are about 7 parking spaces here. Hop out of your car and head over the short bridge. Watch out for a troll under the bridge. Hop over the metal gate. The speed limit is 5 so take slow hops. Pass a sign that says Water for Campsites (but it's not for frogs.) Go straight ahead and hop about one million tiny hops. You'll hop past a single wooden railing on your right. Keep on hopping forward about one million more hops until you come to the next set of wooden railings, this time they are on both sides of the trail. Hop to the railing on your left. Count 7 big hops forward then turn left towards a funny tree with a hole in it. Hop about 12 hops over to it. Dig down deep into the hole in the tree where frogs could live, under the rocks and leaves and bark. Hop quickly, I don't think this one will last in the hole too long....
