Go up I-93- past exit 34B will see a turn off (northbound only) for Boise rock. Pull in go down see Boise rock- Read the story about the rock. Story tells about Mr. Boise who in 1800's got stuck in the notch in a snow blizzard and killed his horse, and wrapped himself with horse's skin to keep warm and went under the rock. He did live- people found him the day.
Walk back up to parking lot- will see the a pit toilet, on the same side as rock- look directly across the road- see lots of rocks- see 2 rocks where have a opening inbetween, a smaller rock is in there- behind that is the box. Before you leave this area- go get some fresh spring water, from the spring that is there, nice cold and fresh...
