Box is already missing!!! We are very disappointed.
The Girl Scout Troops 797 and 528 from the San Gabriel Valley had tons of fun learning about letterboxing! They placed this box with lots of care. The box is located in El Capitan State Beach.
Go to the Lifeguard headquarters located in the park.
Find the display case on the north side.
Follow the 17 boulders.
Red squares mark the gate you must pass.
Take 15-20 steps.
Turn right and go down.
Go past the spot where doggies may not.
Take 59 steps.
Take a rest here and face 18 degrees to get to the "root" of the location. Your quest may be "rocky!"
