I planted this letterbox to spotlight one of *the* best charterboat captains in the Harbor of Refuge - Captain Fred Miller of Miller Time Sport Fishing Charters.

From Route 1 in South Kingstown, RI, take the East Matunuck Beach Exit. Follow Succotash Road past East Matunuck State Beach, past Jim's Dock (where the Miller Lite is moored), past the Jerusalem State Pier, to its end at the DEM Division of Fish and Wildlife Marine Fisheries Building. Park your car in the small parking area, and head out on the dirt road to the left of the building.

This is the Succotash Marsh Wildlife Management Area. Walk along the dirt road and admire the beautiful marshlands on your left, and a variety of pathways to the Harbor of Refuge on your right. Pass the osprey pole, and continue along the dirt road until you come upon a open pine needle clearing on your right, guarded by large boulders. Walk into this pine needle clearing, following the path that leads to the water. You will pass a large horizontal pine tree on your left. In just a few paces, you will find yourself between one lone pine on your left and a cluster of pines on your right. At the base of the pine tree closest to the path on your right, guarded by driftwood, you will find "Miller Lite".
