Destination Known LbNA # 22946
|Placed Date||Oct 2 2005|
This letterbox is called the ‘Destination Known’ letterbox. It is moderately difficult, the hardest part being the end, and it should take about 45 minutes.
The following puzzle will lead you to a very familiar place. I have encrypted the destination with a series of puzzle clues below:
1) Best Western, Holiday Inn, etc. ( _ _ _ _ _ )
2) A kind of injection, adj. ( _ _ _ _ _ _ )
3) A one-word classic Monopoly game piece ( _ _ _ _ _ _ _ )
4) Bending easily ( _ _ _ _ _ )
5) A _____, balanced diet ( _ _ _ _ _ _ _ )
6) National holiday ( _ _ _ fourth of _ _ _ _ )
After filling in the blanks, search for the letters that they all have in common. If a letter is not in every answer, it’s not meant to be used, and repeat letters count as a single letter. Unscramble these letters to form your destination.
If you’re still stuck, here’s another way to crack it. Go through your answers and look for all the letters that occur exactly once. Unscramble these letters to get the same destination.
Go to the only landmark associated with this destination. Once there, stand in front of the landmark (there is literally only one landmark, so don’t worry). Find the spot that is furthest to the right and then the furthest to the top. Just a note: this won’t work if you reverse those instructions.
Go to this spot, and you’ll find an obvious hiding space a few feet away. Underneath some rocks, you’ll find a letterbox!
