The Weird Sisters often ask themselves: When shall we three meet again? In thunder, lightning, or in rain? When the hurlyburly’s done; when the battle’s lost and won. That will be ere the set of sun. Where the place? Upon the heath? Or, near the lake? Ah! This is where the roadshow begins.
The Dramatis Personae offer a clue to the location of the letterbox and are among others: Macduff, Angus, Young Siward, Seyton, Lennox, Apparitions, the King of Scotland, the Earl of Northumberland. By the way, this haunted preserve plays host to another box.
Take a good seat in the audience and keep a sharp eye for Banquo’s ghost, who during rehearsal was directed to come and go Up Left. Sneak backstage and walk through the orchard toward the prairie grass. Walk along its edge in an easterly direction, but before you get too far afield look over your left shoulder for a stand of trees that are among the sweetest and most sacred of woods. Pick the most obvious one. (A nice pair of sturdy gloves will make matters less prickly for you.) Under the boughs is where you’ll find The Weird Sisters’ trove.
