The CEMETERY SERIES by BKshadow
Please locate other boxes in this series by searching my trailname.

I find cemeteries intriguing, especially the very old ones. For letterboxing, cemeteries can be appealing places because they are public areas that are usually desolate. This series will lead you to hidden-away country cemeteries and large city cemeteries.
I hope you enjoy the adventure - I sure did!
My only rule is to be mindful of those who 'live' there and respectful to their visitors. Ex: Do not letterbox during a funeral service. If people are in the Cemetery, I usually just wait them out and return later.

BARKER

The area surrounding the junction of Hwy 437 (Lee Rd) and Hwy 40 is known to locals as Barker's Corner. Just north of this junction is the Barker cemetery on the west side of the highway. Take the northern entrance and drive to the back.
Stand before a large grave of stone,
the Hampton's are not buried alone.
Bear 310 degrees to a 'corner' tree,
behind it is a hole - you'll see.
But to save your wits beware,
not sure if a critter lives there!

Please rehide better than you found it and make sure container is sealed tight. Contact placer if box needs repair. Bring your own pen and ink pad.
