Boxin' on the Hudson

Three boxes located in Kingston, NY at Hasbrouck Park. A park which seems to be a fairly nice town park, which offers a really nice sledding hill, a nature trail which is boasted to be about 1 mile long. As it was autumn when these boxes were placed there was an abundance of leaves on the ground which may obscure your path. Your walk will be about 20-30 minutes long, mostly utilizing the nature trail, but some on road and some off road.

I LOVE IMPROMPTU BOXING!!!

The Stamps are store bought and there are no ink pads in the boxes. I went down to investigate the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park with my girlfriend, we stayed in Kingston with Maureen's sister. Later on I will replace the store bought stamps with hand carved stamps and revamp the clues.

Park where you will end, at the parking lot at the "Scenic Overlook." Backtrack on foot to the Emilio A. Primo, Jr. Stone Building across from which you will see a Large Oak tree with an opening to the trail which you will need.
Going up this trail turn left -then right. Pass a rock retaining wall, overgrown with moss. Begin to turn uphill to the left where you will see a HUGE pine tree growing out of a small cliff. Under the center of the trunk of this pine tree and to the left you will find your first stamp, after stamping in continue uphill, zigging and zagging, left to right, left again and then right one more time, when you have gotten to the top of the hill, you will have one heck of a view of the Hudson, and see one heck of an Oak tree.
Fifteen steps left of the Oak tree there will be a smaller tree with a hollow on it's left side, in this spot you will find the second box..."Hudson's Half Moon". Continue from here down the path with the Hudson on your left. You will return to the "Parking Place" with the spectacular view. Continue on the lawn past the fence, where you will find a hollowed out stump which lines up with a small tree and completes the line at a Black Cherry tree. On its left side find a pile of rocks, under which lies your third and final box. Stamp up and return to your car.
