Terrain/Distance Drive up
Please bring your stamp, a stamp pad, pen and an old rag to wipe off the box/your hands.
Directions: From McConnelsville head N.E. on 78 for about 8 miles and its on the left. From Beverly head N.W. on 60 about 2 miles and then up 83 about 12 miles to 78 and left on 78 about 1 mile and its on the right. http://www.roadsideamerica.com/attract/OHCUMmuskie.html
Clues: Once you enter the park go to the south end of the park and go up the road toward the large covered shelter. On the way up you will pass a bird house which is not far from a lone picnic table. Park somewhere and head for the birdhouse. At the birdhouse take a heading of ~ (approximately) 225* and go ~ 23 steps to the tree just into the thicket past the edge of the mowed park. The Big Muskie Bucket letterpouch is hanging on the back side of this tree about 2 feet above ground. Discretely retrieve the pouch and do your stamping. Please reseal the baggies well and discretely replace the pouch as you found it. While in this area you might want to check out the other boxes here, The Wilds letterbox (southern Muskingum County) and also the Mill letterbox located at the Stockport Mill Country Inn in Stockport.
